Today was the Adopt a Legacy party day at the swimming pool. 24 kids ranging in age from 2 to 21 splashed around in a swimming pool - most for the first time. The sheer joy was evident on their faces. Most of these kids come from homes & backgrounds where bathing isn’t even a real option. Just a washbasin with water. Water is limited and carried on the head.        These kids splashed around in cool, clean water and LOVED it.

 

        The team ministered to these children with love, games, Bible stories and fellowship. They have poured value into these kids lives. And it was beautiful to watch.

 

            I did, this time, spring for diapers. So I stayed dry. As did the baby, Ashelee, sleeping on my lap after a nummy buffet of french fries, pork chops and potatoes.
