the team is out in remote areas. brian hasn’t been able to contact us very much. but he did manage to send us this photo today. along with a note that the team’s spirits are up although everyone is tired and sore from all the bumpy roads. but that God has really had His hand on the trip. go, God! He’s really good about all of that. In Africa you can’t rely on planning or infrastructure for your logistics. it’s just God. like it is here, too, --- it’s just that there - you really KNOW that.
i think the team looks good. the fear has gone from their faces as they have now landed in AAAAAHHHHfrica and realized that they weren’t going to be eaten up by some tropical lizard-lion species or speared by an ambush of natives. Phew. they look good. i’m happy for them.
they showed the Jesus film tonite at a maasai boma. tomorrow they head out to their next leg of the journey. two flights and some more rough roads. but God will be with them.
brian is crouching down in the photo with joseph, the maasai evangelist for that region.
