No comments on the wine, please. It’s a template in my cell phone. Jordan stuck it on the photo to be funny. We celebrated my birthday tonight. The day was supposed to be sort of set aside to celebrate it as well but the day got away from us as is usual here. By 6 in the evening, we had collected ourselves and Brian threw together a chocolate cake and made some homemade icecream and he also made us dinner (he’s a great Chef, actually.) It was fun and I got some really cool homemade cards from the kids. I’ve scanned them and posted them today. I totally didn’t tell anyone that it was my birthday here because people have so very little but I know that they would all feel obligated to do something for me or get something so I didn’t want that but I was psyched when Judith brought me over a parcel with a gift wrapped in pink hearts and about 5 cards from herself and her kids. It was around 6:30 when she popped in. I was soooo happy and I asked her how she knew it was my birthday and she told me that a long time ago, she had seen my passport when we were working on something. That made it all the more special and I think hers was one of the most special gifts I have ever gotten. I liked all my gifts, actually. It was a great birthday. Brian has to fly out early tomorrow morning (on my actual birthday) so we celebrated today. Which is fine by me. Since I’m not really into birthdays and holidays anyhow. Ho-hum.
